Our world is undergoing major transitions with geopolitical, economic and social changes.  Nationalism and religiosity are on the rise and are dividing strong geopolitical relationships carefully cultivated over many decades after the Second World War.  The continued conflicts in the Middle East, Brexit, America first policy have adverse impact on the world economy.


Falling Upward

Over the last few years, one theme that resonates increasingly within my heart has been to finish well, moving from success to significance with the remaining time I have left on this earth.  Perhaps you may say that I am experiencing a season of life called midlife crisis.  Climbing the ladder of success can be exhausting and often there is a feeling of emptiness when you reach the top and it may dawn on you that the ladder is leaning against the wrong wall!


Becoming More like Jesus

John Stott delivered his final public sermon at the Keswick Convention on 17 July 2007.  In it, he reflected on this pivotal question: “What is God’s purpose for His people? Granted that we have been converted, granted that we have been saved and received new life in Jesus Christ, what comes next? Of course, we knew the famous statement of the Westminster Shorter Catechism: that man's chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever: we knew that, and we believed it.  We also toyed with some briefer statements, like one of only five words - love God, love your neighbour.
